Built on dual AMD® EPYC 7002 CPU series, NuvolaNode™-DCEP servers are compact 1U rack powerhouse systems for deployment as part of the high performance computing operations in server room or data centre.
NuvolaNode™-DCEP computing nodes can deliver up to 64 physical cores and 128 hyper-threaded cores per CPU for total of 256 useable cores with two CPUs with frequency range between 2.00GHZ to 3.35GHz per core. All consuming with as low as 450Watts power and fully populated with 10 SSDs at peak time.
NuvolaNode™-DCEP storage model comes with 4 drive bay and can provide up to 72TB of SATA/6Gpbs raw capacity with 4x18TB 3.5” SATA HDD, or up to 52TB of SAS/12Gbp with 4x14TB 3.5″ SAS HDD.
These units also accept 2.5” HDD/SSD in each 3.5″ tray and can provide a hybrid storage combo for both performance and storage at the same time. Two sets of RAID1 (RAID1-2x2.5” SSD + RAID1 2x2.5″/3.5” HDD). This is a very costs-effective approach as dual purpose solution, performance and storage for entry-level virtualization and general purpose server.
